I worked with Clarisa for four years together. She was recommended to me by a friend, when I’d just moved to the country and was looking to improve my Spanish. She’s great, because she loves her job, is very patient and supportive throughout the whole process. To me it’s important to have a good student-teacher connection and I feel I had that with her, we even became friends. In those four years we had lessons between three to two times a week, depending on the season. I definitely recommend you working with Clarisa.

Effective and personalized teaching style. I like Clarisa’s approach since the lessons are tailored to my immediate needs as a student, and the pace is adjusted as necessary. While I am still very much a beginner, I get ecstatic whenever I’m able to use what I’ve learned so far in my daily life.

I used to be really intimidated to speak in Spanish, but her lessons built my confidence and I found myself enjoying them more and more. You can tell that she is an experienced teacher with students who are engaged and loyal. The tools she uses to facilitate lessons are effective.

An Amazing Way to Learn Spanish!

She always made group classes relevant to the lives and interests of specific students, designing lesson plans tailored to us. One class we had was on the Spanish government and how it functions in autonomous communities vs federally, because it was something I was very curious about.

Clarisa always tries to make the lessons diverting, using different tools (texts, videos, games etc.) and keep repeating patiently the same things over and over until they stick in my head, which I highly appreciate! Clarisa has a personalised approach to teaching language along with impressive linguistics knowledge and fluency in English. She is responsive, helpful and patient and always focuses on student needs. She has an incredible ability to research quickly and multi-skill to produce visual or aural stimuli or teaching tools relevant to any topic being discussed.
